Q: Can I charge standard 3.7V 16340 batteries with this charger?
A: No. The Soshine S5 is exclusively engineered for 3.2V LiFePO4 batteries. It has a cut-off voltage of 3.65V. If you put a 3.7V battery in it, it will not charge properly and might not detect the battery.
Q: What does the "0V Activation" feature mean?
A: LiFePO4 batteries sometimes discharge completely to 0V. Most cheap chargers will refuse to charge them. The Soshine S5 has a smart chip that can safely "wake up" these deeply discharged batteries and start the charging process.
Q: Can I charge one CR123 and one CR2 battery at the same time?
A: Yes! The Soshine S5 features completely independent charging channels. You can mix charge different types (CR123 & CR2) or different power levels without affecting one another.
Q: How do I know when the battery is fully charged?
A: When plugged in, the LED light will show Red while charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will automatically switch to Green. If the LED stays off, please check the polarity (+/-) or if the battery is damaged.
