The XTAR MC4S is a compact, lightweight, and highly versatile 4-slot smart battery charger designed for both 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion and 1.2V Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries. Equipped with a universal Type-C input, it features four fully independent charging circuits that intelligently identify battery types and automatically switch to the optimal charging strategy. With clear LED indicators, built-in 0V activation to revive over-discharged batteries, and precise charging algorithms, the MC4S provides a safe and efficient charging experience. Please note the physical slot limitations for longer batteries: Slots CH1 and CH4 can accommodate batteries up to 26650 size, while Slots CH2 and CH3 support batteries up to 21700 size. Important: This charger does NOT support protected 20700 and 21700 batteries.

A2: No. Please note that the MC4S does NOT support protected 20700 and 21700 batteries. Slots CH2 and CH3 are physically limited to 21700 batteries without protection boards.
Q3: What does the flashing Red and Green LED lights mean?
A3: When the LED lights flash between red and green, it indicates the battery has been inserted with reversed polarity. Please immediately remove the battery and insert it in the correct orientation to begin charging.
Q4: What is the maximum charging current of the MC4S?
A4: The MC4S supports a maximum charging current of 1A for 2 slots simultaneously, or 0.5A for all 4 slots simultaneously, ensuring safe and balanced charging for different battery capacities.
