Things Worth Knowing Before You Use This Kit
- The 30Q is an unprotected cell. The charger has its own safety cutoffs (voltage and current), but your device still needs to handle discharge-side protection — don't run these in a device with no low-voltage cutoff of its own.
- Don't mix these cells with older ones you already own, even if they're also 30Q. Pairing cells from different ages or usage histories in a series/parallel setup can cause imbalanced charging over time.
- The charger detects cell chemistry and size automatically, but it's still a good habit to check that both slots show a normal charging indicator after inserting cells — a cell that isn't registering properly is more likely a sign of a bad connection than something to force.
