This isn’t just any plastic film; it’s the same high-temperature, puncture-resistant material used in professional power tool battery rebuilds, chosen specifically to eliminate unnecessary bulk while providing excellent insulation and cell protection.
Inside that sleek blue sleeve sits a carefully assembled array of 20 premium 18650 lithium-ion cylindrical cells, arranged in a 10S2P configuration. That delivers a genuine 37.0V nominal voltage (40V Max) and a full 5.0 amp-hours of capacity—enough energy to power a cordless mower through half an acre, keep a leaf blower roaring at full throttle, or drive a chainsaw through hardwood without the chain speed collapsing. FAQ
1. Is the shrink-wrap durable enough for outdoor work?
Absolutely. The blue PVC heat shrink we use is thick, puncture-resistant, and specifically designed for battery pack assembly. It provides excellent electrical insulation and holds the cells tightly together. As with any battery, avoid puncturing the wrap with sharp objects and don’t drop it repeatedly onto sharp rocks. Under normal yard-work conditions, it performs reliably.
2. Will this pack fit my 40V tool?
It fits most 40V Max tools that use a slide-on battery system. Compare the connector shape and latch position with your original battery. The blue shrink-wrap pack has the same standard slide-interface dimensions. If your tool matches, it should click in securely.
3. Can I see the fuel gauge easily through the wrap?
Yes. There is a transparent window in the heat shrink exactly over the LED fuel gauge and button. It’s easy to read even in sunlight.
4. Does the shrink-wrap affect heat dissipation?
The thin PVC layer does not trap excessive heat. Under heavy use the battery may become warm, which is normal. The BMS will disconnect if temperatures exceed safe limits. Allow the pack to cool before recharging.
5. How should I care for this shrink-wrapped battery?
Avoid cutting or tearing the wrap. If it ever becomes damaged, stop using the battery and have it re-wrapped or inspected. Store in a dry, cool place at about 50% charge. Don’t expose to prolonged direct sunlight, which can degrade the PVC over time.
6. Is charging time the same as a hard-case battery?
Yes. A standard 2A charger takes about 2.5–3 hours; a 4A fast charger cuts that to around 1.5 hours. Always use a compatible 40V lithium-ion charger.

You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item(s) to request a return. Any return request submitted after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Defective or Incorrect Items: If the item you received is defective, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, OneAndes will cover the return shipping cost. In this case, we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.

Buyer’s Remorse / Non-Defective Returns: If you are returning an item for any other reason (e.g., no longer needed, ordered the wrong model), you are responsible for the return shipping costs. You must prepay the return shipping cost using a trackable carrier that accepts lithium batteries. We do not provide prepaid return labels for non-defective returns.

Lithium Battery Shipping Regulations: By law, all returns must be shipped in compliance with applicable dangerous goods regulations. We will provide guidance on proper packaging and labeling.
