Q: Are these batteries protected?

Q: Will a 20A battery damage my desk fan or low-power device?

Understand the trade-off: 2000mAh with 20A CDR. For my turbo headlight, it's a fair swap. I can always carry a spare. They charge incredibly fast too.
I use these in a cordless soldering iron. The fast heat-up time requires high current. These Sunpower cells deliver the punch needed. Flat top fits the cap.
They don't last forever, but for quick, intense light they're unbeatable. My turbo-only build draws 18A and they shrug it off. Sunpower's 20A rating is accurate.
I ran these through a capacity test at 15A and got around 1950mAh. That's excellent for a high-drain cell. Perfect for my competitive flashlight meets.
