Q1: Do these batteries have a protection circuit?
A: No. They are unprotected flat-top cells, designed to offer the lowest possible internal resistance for high-drain applications. Always use them in devices with built-in over-discharge and over-current protection, or install an external protection PCB. Never short circuit.
Q2: Is the capacity really 5000mAh?
A: Yes. Capacity is verified by 0.2C standard discharge. Under high current (e.g., 20A), usable capacity may be around 4700–4900mAh due to internal resistance losses, which is normal.
Q3: Will they fit my LED flashlight?
A: If your flashlight accepts unprotected flat-top 21700 cells, yes. Verify that the positive contact can reach a flat terminal. Some flashlights designed only for button-top cells may require a magnet spacer (use with extreme care and at your own risk).
Q4: What charger do I need
A: A dedicated Li-ion charger that supports 3.6V/3.7V cells, 21700 size, with CC/CV profile and 4.2V cutoff. Recommended brands: Xtar, Nitecore, Vapcell, or Gyrfalcon. Never use NiMH chargers.
Q5: Can I mix these with old batteries in a multi-cell device?
A: Absolutely not. Always use identical cells of the same model, age, and charge status when running in series or parallel. Mixing mismatched cells can cause imbalance, overheating, or even fire.
Q6: How should I store these batteries?
A: Store at 3.6–3.7V (around 40–60% charge) in a cool, dry place. Avoid high temperatures. Check voltage every 3 months and recharge to storage voltage if needed.

A: Yes. The 10-pack consists of A-grade cells that are capacity-matched and internal-resistance-checked, making them suitable for use as a set in multi-cell applications.

5000mAh true capacity, tested all 10 cells, they ranged from 4980mAh to 5050mAh. IR consistent. 30A is perfect for my emergency lantern bank.
Most cells were over 5000mAh, but one gave only 4860mAh. Still overall great for the price. 30A rating holds.
Replaced old battery pack in my drill, 10 of these in series/parallel. Torque is great, runtime improved. Highly recommended.
