Description
Get maximum runtime in a compact AA-sized form factor with the Vapcell F15, a 14500 cell delivering an impressive 1500mAh capacity and a steady 3A continuous discharge. This high-capacity battery is the ultimate power upgrade for 3.7V-compatible LED flashlights, headlamps, electric toothbrushes, wireless mice, and portable electronics. Available in Flat Top or Button Top options to fit your device's contact requirements, and in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 pack options to suit your needs.
Critical Safety Note: This is a 3.7V lithium-ion cell. It shares the same physical size as a standard AA battery but operates at a much higher voltage. Never use it in devices designed only for 1.5V AA batteries, as it will permanently damage the equipment. With Vapcell's trusted quality and long cycle life, the F15 keeps your compatible high-output devices running longer between charges.
Key Features
1500mAh Maximum 14500 Capacity: Among the highest capacity available in the 14500 form factor. Provides substantially more runtime than standard 800-1200mAh 14500 cells, reducing the need for frequent recharging.
3A Continuous Discharge (CDR): Stable, reliable power for high-output LED flashlights, electric toothbrushes, and other small electronics. Enough current for turbo modes on compatible flashlights.
Flat Top & Button Top Options: Choose flat top for devices with spring-loaded contacts or button top for devices requiring a raised positive terminal for proper contact.
Compact AA-Sized Form Factor: Same physical size as a standard AA battery (14mm x 50mm), but operates at 3.7V nominal. Must only be used in devices explicitly designed for 3.7V 14500 lithium-ion cells.
Long Cycle Life: Retains over 80% of initial capacity after 500 charge/discharge cycles under recommended conditions, reducing long-term replacement costs.
Multiple Pack Options: Available in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 packs, ideal for powering multiple devices, keeping spares charged, or equipping a set of compatible flashlights and toothbrushes.

Applications
Recommended For:
LED Flashlights & EDC Torches (3.7V 14500 Compatible): Enjoy brighter output and longer runtime compared to standard AA-powered lights. Perfect for compact everyday carry flashlights that explicitly support 3.7V 14500 cells.
Headlamps (3.7V 14500 Compatible): Lightweight power for camping, running, and outdoor activities. Must be used in headlamps designed for 14500 lithium-ion cells.
Electric Toothbrushes (Select Models): Many high-performance rechargeable toothbrushes use 14500 cells. The 1500mAh capacity provides extended use between charges.
Wireless Mice & Keyboards (Select Models): Some rechargeable peripherals use 14500 cells. Keep your devices running with reliable, long-lasting power.
Mini Portable Fans: Certain compact fans accept 14500 cells, and the 3.7V voltage provides stronger airflow than 1.5V AA alternatives.
Smart Doorbells & Small Electronics: Select models that use 14500 backup batteries benefit from the high capacity and stable voltage.
Not Recommended For:
Standard 1.5V AA Devices: This is a 3.7V lithium-ion cell. Using it in devices designed only for 1.5V AA batteries will permanently damage the equipment. Always verify your device explicitly supports 3.7V 14500 lithium-ion cells before use.
High-Drain Devices (>3A): The F15 is a high-capacity cell, not a high-drain cell. Devices requiring sustained current above 3A should use higher-drain cells in larger form factors.
18650 or 21700 Devices: The 14500 format is physically smaller (14mm vs. 18mm/21mm) and will not make proper contact in larger battery compartments.
FAQ
Q1: Is this battery the same size as a regular AA battery? Can I use it in my AA flashlight?
A: Yes, the F15 has the exact same physical dimensions as a standard AA battery (14mm x 50mm). However, it operates at 3.7V, which is more than double the voltage of a 1.5V AA alkaline battery. You must only use this cell in devices explicitly labeled as supporting 14500 3.7V lithium-ion cells. Using it in a standard AA device will likely destroy the electronics instantly.
Q2: What is the difference between flat top and button top? Which should I choose?
A: Flat top cells have a completely flat positive terminal, ideal for devices with spring-loaded contacts that can accommodate the slight recess. Button top cells have a raised positive nipple, required by some flashlights and devices for proper electrical contact. Check your device's battery compartment or manual for the correct type.
Q3: Why choose this over standard NiMH rechargeable AA batteries?
A: NiMH AAs are 1.2V, while the F15 is 3.7V, providing much higher voltage for brighter flashlights, faster motors, and stronger performance in devices designed for it. Additionally, 1500mAh at 3.7V (5.55Wh) stores more total energy than a typical 2000mAh NiMH at 1.2V (2.4Wh). However, never mix them or use them interchangeably with 1.5V devices.
Q4: Can I charge this with a standard AA charger?
A: No. You must use a lithium-ion charger designed for 3.7V 14500 cells. Standard NiMH or alkaline AA chargers will not charge this cell correctly and could create a safety hazard. Always use a charger with a CC-CV algorithm and proper voltage cutoff (4.2V).
Q5: How should I store these cells when not in use?
A: Store at 3.6-3.7V (approximately 40-50% charge) in a cool, dry place. Use non-conductive battery cases to prevent accidental short circuits. Avoid storing fully charged or deeply discharged for extended periods.
Q6: How many batteries come in one pack?
A: This product is available in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 pack options. Please select your desired quantity from the dropdown menu before adding to cart.
