A1: No. The MC6C is physically compatible with 20700 and 21700 sizes, but it specifically DOES NOT support protected 20700 and 21700 batteries due to length restrictions. Please do not use protected versions of these cells with this charger.
Q2: What are the charging currents for the different slots?
A2: The MC6C intelligently allocates current. Slots 1, 2, 5, and 6 can charge at up to 1.0A, while slots 3 and 4 charge at up to 0.5A. When charging Ni-MH batteries, it uses a default 0.5A current.
Q3: What do the LED grid lights indicate?
A3: Slow flashing battery frame: Activation or battery identification. Steady frame with flowing grid: Charging in progress. Steady frame and 4 steady grids: Fully charged. Fast flashing frame and grid: Reverse polarity, activation failure, or abnormal status.
Q4: How does the 0V activation function work?
A4: If a lithium battery is over-discharged to near 0V and cannot be recognized by standard chargers, the MC6C will automatically apply a safe, low 100mA current to activate the battery's protection circuit, often successfully reviving it. Note: The LED will flash slowly during this activation period.
Q5: Can I use the Type-C and DC ports at the same time?
A5: You can use either port independently. The charger will adapt to whichever power source is connected. The input requirement is 5V 3A for optimal performance across all 6 slots.
